(June 18) L.E.S. Film Festival Panel & Party: Women Writers Redefining the Small Screen Landscape

As part of the Lower East Side Film Festival, the WGAE will host a discussion on women writers. The conversation will focus on the writer’s journey and will feature Laura Eason (HOUSE OF CARDS), Alison McDonald (ALPHA HOUSE, NURSE JACKIE), Natalia Leite (BE HERE NOWISH) and Alexandra Roxo (BE HERE NOWISH). These storytellers will discuss how they got their work produced, the current state of the industry and how new platforms have created opportunities to tell diverse stories.
